Job Title: Floor Team Leader

Direct Supervisor: GM


Lead the Floor Ambassador Team by establishing and maintaining Salud’s brand culture and standards of conduct by delivering a unique spin on hospitality that is people-focused and experience-driven, while also enlightening and educating customers on the benefits, processes, and integrity associated with Salud’s products. 

You Are Someone Who Can:

  • Educate and prepare the team on how to approach customers on all products, including more complicated ingredients.

  • Track analytics and build reports on subjects including spill/waste, ticket average, sales trends, to maximize sales & profitability.

  • Spearhead any and all daily, weekly or monthly promotional ideas including developing ways of communicating them to customers and Ambassador Team.

  • Motivate customers on their health journey by being a pillar of encouragement, support and knowledge.

  • Maintain an organized storefront and floor, guaranteeing a clean, stream-lined and stress-free environment for customers and the team.

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, while maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.

  • Cultivate a positive and welcoming environment, through people-focused hospitality.

  • Balance floor flow, including bussing, expediating, greeting, and cashiering.

  • Represent the brand culture of Salud by emulating Salud’s Core Values and nurturing relationships with regulars. 

  • Oversee training of new employees through coaching and trustworthy leadership, developing well-rounded employees rooted in Salud culture. 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experienced in retail, sales, or service industry, at least 5 years

  • Experienced in retail, sales, or service industry management, at least 1 year

  • Fluent in Google Drive, Microsoft Suite, and intuitive computer skills

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

  • Outgoing, creative, team-leader and results-driven personality

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills: written and verbal

  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and with ambiguity

  • Fluid with popular social media platforms

A Day at Salud Might Look Like:

  • Working with our customers and being the true Salud experience

  • Overseeing and handling all POS transactions, returns, orders & purchases

  • Being an expert on our brand and our products

  • Offering menu and health advice and knowledge

  • Keeping our store clean and tidy

  • Communicating and collaborating with team and management

  • Standing and moving for 8 hours

  • Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

  • Ordering and restocking floor goods throughout the day and week

  • Counting drops and handling petty cash

  • Building daily reports for floor activity, human relations and labor records
